Another summer month, another successful City Flea! This time we were located in the newly renovated Washington Park right smack in front of the majestic Music Hall. The city was flooded with visitors for the World Choir Games Champions concert and a steady crowd filled the Flea despite some spotty weather. We had a refreshing shower during set up, but after that the clouds parted, the sun was shining, and the rain held off until the end of the day. I wish I could say that the entire Flea was as hopping as my particular spot, but I can't because I was so busy I never made it out of my booth! Luckily, I was next to Madville Studios and Tracy Makanani, fellow friendly vendors. It's always nice to have a booth next to people you know and like!
Here are a few choice pics of the day:
First, my booth....
And the sweet view from my booth!
My parents came and dad took some great pics of the park, too. It's lovely!
And I'm pretty sure you'll see this gazebo in a future tile.
I won't be at August's City Flea since I'm starting a new teaching position and need my energy for that, but I'll be back in September! And I'll likely still go in August. Gotta take advantage of the opportunity to be a Flea Shopper.
